Improve the flavour of your espresso and minimise shot-to-shot variability, without the need for pro-grade equipment.
Espresso filter paper to fit all espresso machines with 58mm or 51mm portafilters, like the Dualit Espressivo, Gaggia Classic, Rancilio Silva, Rocket, Lelit and La Marzocco machines (58mm) and De'Longhi Dedica, De'Longhi La Specialista, La Pavoni, Sage/Breville 800 series, Cuisinart EM-100, Cuisinart EM-200, Dualit Espressivo, Dualit Espresso Coffee Machine or Bodum Granos (51mm).
The circular filter papers are cut based on precise measurements of common filter basket brands and dosages, and our automated process control ensures that the size you order from Esspero is exactly what you get.
Manufactured from pure-grade filter paper, Esspero products meet the highest standards. Our paper is regularly and independently tested to ensure it meets applicable EU food legislation as well as US FDA requirements. To ensure the best quality and preserve the taste of your coffee, we only use virgin pulp with no residual traces of wood. After manufacture, the filters are processed and packaged to Global Food Safety Initiative standards.
Our EU-based paper mill uses pulp from certified sustainable forestry operations and its own renewable energy source to make the paper. The process uses no environmental pollutants. While we do use bleached pulp to remove any residual taste of wood (like all white filter papers), we use a chlorine-free bleaching process for the minimum possible impact. Finished and packaged in the UK, at Esspero we use recycled, recyclable and biodegradable materials at every opportunity.
Our sustainable manufacturing gives us the perfect starting point to minimise our carbon footprint. We calculate the emissions of the raw materials, operations, transportation and logistics to get your espresso filter papers to you, and then we buy carbon credits to offset them. We know this is still not enough, and we are committing to reach Net Zero.

Basket types for espresso filter papers
Choose the Basket type option that corresponds to your portafilter basket. If you have a 58mm portafilter and the wall of your basket has a clear step half-way down where it starts to taper in to a narrower base, then you have a Tapered basket. If there is is no step and no taper, then you have a Straight-walled basket. The following diagram shows the difference between the two.
At the bottom of the page you can find a table of common brands of 58mm filter baskets and the correct filter paper for each model. To know the model number of your basket, take it out of the portafilter and read the etched lettering on the side of the basket.
Choose the 51mm option if you have any of the following espresso machines: De'Longhi Dedica, De'Longhi La Specialista, La Pavoni (post-millennium), Sage/Breville 800 series, Cuisinart EM-100, Cuisinart EM-200, Dualit Espressivo, Dualit Espresso Coffee Machine or Bodum Granos.
For CNC machined baskets with completely vertical side walls and very limited internal rounding at the join to the base, such as the Weber Workshops Unifilter or the Pesado 58.5, the best fit is a to use one of our puck screen papers under the puck.
You can also choose how many units of 100 filter papers you want to purchase in the Quantity box, and how often you would like to receive your purchase in the Delivery frequency section.
